BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State women's cross-country program will compete in the 2022 Penn State Brandywine Invitational Saturday, Oct. 22 in Media, Pa. The meet, hosted by Penn State Brandywine and will take place at Rose Tree Park with the women's 5k race at 12 noon.

th out of 15 schools in the 6,000-meter race with an average time of 33:00 at the Roanoke Invitational last weekend. Bowie State's effort was led by freshman
Destiny Lewis (Huntingtown, MD) who recorded a personal-best (25:10.9) in the 6K race for 44
th out of 125 runners. Freshman
Catherine Enwereji (Sicklerville, NJ) placed 91
st (28:17.0) for a personal best and sophomore
Destiny Ehirim (Lanham, MD) finished with a time of 36:14.4.
