The Short Story: The
Bowie State men's and women's cross country teams both placed fourth at the Jack St. Clair Invite on Saturday at Belmont Plateau. The Bulldog women tallied 127 points in the 6k race with an average time of 30:13.74 while the Bulldog men recorded 151 points and a team average of 34:41.76 in the 8k race.
The Finish Line
- Naomi English placed 29th and was the first Bulldog to cross the finish line on the women's side with a recording time of 29:06.87.
- Emetem Bezezuh came in after English with a finishing time of 29:59.64 for a score of 24 points and a 32nd finish while Mylah Faulk and Makayla Hill both tabbed times of 30:15.04 and 30:20.06 for 34th and 35th, respectively.
- Malik Carter led the Bulldog men with a time of 33:12.21 for 31st place overall.
- Keon Witherspoon came in 36th place at 33:28.50 while Sean Montague came in 41st place at 34:46.65.
- Both Aidan Geron and Kendall Allen would round out the top-50 finishes for Bowie State at 35:55.75 (45th) and 36:02.54 (47th), respectively.

Bowie State will compete in the Bison Invite hosted by Howard on Friday, Oct. 18 in Washington, D.C. The meet will be the Bulldogs final regular season tilt before conference championships on Oct. 24 in Salem, Va.
