The 2021 CIAA Male Athlete of the Year recorded a personal-best in the men's 8k race at 27:33.9 during the Roanoke XC Invitational. In addition to Thomas-Talley, the Bulldogs have a veteran men's squad who finished runners-ups in the CIAA Championships a year ago. Of the notable veterans are junior Shane Massey (Lewes, DE), junior Frederick Eiland, II (Columbia, MD) and sophomore Creedence Jackson (Lanham, MD). Thomas-Talley, Massey and Eiland, II were all All-CIAA runners last season.
