BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Bison Invitational hosted by Howard University on Saturday, Oct. 18. The women's 5K race is set for 10:45 a.m., followed by the men's 5K at Colmar Manor Park.

The Bulldogs enter the meet following a strong performance at the VSU Cross Country Invitational in Petersburg, Va., where the men's team finished third overall with 87 points. Kamren Branch led the effort with an 18th-place finish (29:27.09), followed by Aiden Geron (24th, 32:07.87), David Gooding (29th, 34:16.77), Kenneth McLeish (30th, 34:30.22), and Markell Yarborough (31st, 34:47.73). Ryan Stewart rounded out the lineup in 40th place with a time of 37:57.26.
