BOWIE, Md. – On Saturday, Feb. 12, the Bowie State men's basketball team will host Senior Day against Shaw at 4 p.m. from A.C. Jordan Arena. The game will broadcast live on the Bulldog Sports Network.

Bowie State will recognize Kobbey Ayetey (Accra, Ghana), Justin Route (Washington, DC), Dexter Turner (Washington, DC) and Godlyvictor Okafor (Greenbelt, MD) prior to tip-off.
The Bulldogs enter Saturday's game looking to snap a four-game losing skid after falling 82-56 to Virginia Union in Richmond, Va. on Thursday. Sophomore David McCullough was the lone Bulldog in double figure scoring with 19 points but BSU had a tough night offensively – shooting just 37-percent from the field in the setback.
Shaw fell 74-72 to Virginia State on Thursday at home. The Bears had three players post double digits in scoring led by Brandon Faison with 20 points and six rebounds. SU is 3-5 on the road this season.
Bowie State and Shaw will meet for the second time this season, with the first meeting occurring back on Jan. 22 in Raleigh, N.C. where the Bulldogs suffered a 73-62 loss. That setback also snapped a three-game win-streak for BSU over Shaw. A win for Bowie State will tie with Shaw in the Northern Division standings for the third place spot.
Following Saturday's game, Bowie State will travel to Virginia State on Wednesday, Feb. 16. Tip-off will be at 5:30 p.m. in Ettrick, Va.
