LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Bowie State men's and women's indoor track and field team capped of its sixth regular season meet Saturday at the Liberty Open hosted by Liberty at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.

Sprints/Distance
- Kayla Little (Prince George's County, MD) recorded a time of 7.88 in the 60m dash for seventh overall. Additionally, she placed 10th in the 200m dash at 25.73.
- Sophomore Eric Thomas-Talley (Richmond, VA) finished eighth in the 5000m run at 16:14.01.
- The men's 4x400m relay, the Bulldogs posted a time of 3:27.64 for eight overall.
Jumps/Hurdles
- Freshman Destiny Ehirim (Lanham, MD) tabbed 12th overall in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.63.
- Freshman Kareem Kelsick (Upper Marlboro, MD) finished fifth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.85 – marking his best this season.
Throws
- Alonzo Fluellen placed 10th in the shot put with a throw of 12.34m

The Bulldogs will compete in the 2022 CIAA Championships (Feb. 12-13) in Winston-Salem, N.C. at the JDL Fast Track.
