Campbell Named CIAA Women’s Bowling Coach of the Year, Two Bulldogs Selected All-CIAA

SALEM, Va. – Bowie State University head women's bowling coach Andrew Campbell was named the 2021-22 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Coach of the Year announced by the league office Saturday at the CIAA Women's Bowling Championships.

Campbell led the BSU to a 26-1 CIAA record (35-4 in division play) this season, in route to capturing the Bulldogs seventh Northern Division title and ultimately a chance to earn their sixth straight championship this year.

Bowie State claimed the CIAA Northern Division title with a 35-4 conference record and 26-1 in Northern Division play. Both senior Cayla Snowden (Parkville, MD) and graduate senior Takara Wigfall (Forestville, MD) were both named to the 2021-22 All-CIAA Bowling team.
