BOWIE, Md. – Bowie State men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the Shore Invitational Saturday, Sept. 24, hosted by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The meets starts at 10:30 a.m. for the women, with the men to follow at 11:15 a.m.
Meet Preview
The Bulldogs look to continue to make strides entering their third competition of the season. Bowie State should anticipate another strong performance from junior Eric Thomas-Talley (Richmond, VA) who was named the CIAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week after a seventh place finish individually to lead the Bulldogs to a fourth place finish at the DSU Sting Invitational last weekend.

Last weekend (Sept. 17), freshman Destiny Lewis (Huntingtown, MD) had a strong race in the women's 5k race, finishing 18th at the DSU Sting Invitational. Newcomer Catherine Enwereji (Sicklerville, NJ) also posted a personal-best (25:08) for 30th place.

Bowie State will travel to Salisbury, Md., for the 34th Annual Don Cathcart Invitational.
