PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Bowie State men's and women's cross-country programs completed its third meet of the season at the Maryland Eastern Shore Farm Run on Saturday, Sept. 24.
Bowie State Men
The Bowie State men's team finished sixth overall in the 8k race with a total of 156 points as Seton Hill (21), Morgan State (77) and Maryland-Eastern Shore (102) finished first, second and third respectively. Junior Eric Thomas-Talley (Richmond, VA) placed 17th overall at 28:43.4, followed by senior Shane Massey (Lewes, DE) came in at a time of 29:46.6 for 27th of 53 total runners.
Bowie State Women
Bowie State women's squad did not place as a team but freshman Destiny Lewis (Huntingtown, MD) finished with a time of 22:04.9 for 27th out of 44 total runners – that time would mark her personal-best of the 2022 season thus far.
