BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State men's and women's track and field programs are set for the Cardinal Classic hosted by Catholic University on Jan. 21 at the PG Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, Md.

The Bulldogs will have 11 appearances from the men's side and seven appearances on the women's side. The BSU men's squad is coming off a five top-finishes at the HBCU Showcase presented by KMPMG last weekend.
Joshua Carter (Bowie, MD) highlighted the men's side with a fourth place finish in the men's pole vault (3.75m). Meanwhile, the Bulldogs women had some notable highlights featuring two top-10 finishes in the 800m race by
Catherine Enwereji (Sicklerville, NJ) (2:35.94) and
Zahra Graham (Mansfield, OH) in the high jump (1.43m).

Bowie State will gear up for the Winter Classic hosted by Virginia Military Institute (VMI) on Jan. 27-28.
