BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State men's and women's track and field programs will resume the 2022-23 season on Sunday, Jan. 8 at the inaugural VCU Invitational at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va.

The meet will be the first competition for the Bulldogs in the New Year. BSU last competed in the Seahawk Shootout hosted by Wagner College on Dec. 9. The Bulldogs men's squad had six events in the top-15 highlighted by an 11th place finish for Movado Gray (Lanham, MD) who threw a mark of 12.82m in the shot put. On the women's side, the Bulldogs also posted top-15 performances in four events that featured ninth place finish for Catherin Enwereji (Sicklerville, NJ) in the 1000m race at 3:30.88.
