BOWIE, Md. - Bowie State track and field wraps up its regular-season slate on Saturday, Apr. 29, when the Bulldogs travel to Washington, D.C. to compete in the Gallaudet Invitational.

The meet will begin with the throwing events at 9:30 a.m. (men's and women's hammer throw), followed bt the running events at 11 a.m. (10,000m run).

The Bulldogs competed at the Legacy Meet hosted by Morgan State in Baltimore, Md., last week. The Bulldog men were competitive with notable highlights from
Joshua Carter in the men's pole vault, he earned a spot on the podium with a mark of 3.85m for third overall. On the women's side, the Bulldogs recorded multiple personal records while the top finish was produced by
Yassine Kamara who finished sixth in the shot put with a toss of 11.38m.
What's Next
Bowie State will travel to Durham, N.C. to compete in the 2023 CIAA Championships on Friday, May 5-6 at Durham County Memorial Stadium. Meet information will be available on the athletic website in the coming days.
