BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie State men's outdoor track and field team will participate in the 100th Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championship this weekend at Durham County Memorial Stadium in Durham, N.C.
Competition begins Friday, May 5 at 9:00 a.m. and runs through Saturday, May 6.

Last Time Out
Bowie State concluded the regular season at the 7th Annual Gallaudet Invitational last weekend. On the men's side the Bulldogs finished with three first place finishes and a fourth place finish collectively. The first place finishes came from
Jalen Wilds in the 200m dash (23.31), while
Kareem Kelsick claimed the 110m hurdles title (16.35). Lastly,
Movado Gray picked up a gold medal in the discus with a throw of 34.39.
The Bulldog women capped off its regular season with seven a record-breaking six first place finishes in a meet this season at the Gallaudet Invitational.
Agi Mboob won the 100m dash (12.63) and 200m dash (26.09), and
Catherine Enwereji earned the 400m dash title (1:03.32). Additionally,
Yassine Kamara won both the shot put (11.99m) and discus (41.85m)
Last Time in Championships
The Bulldogs men will look to improve upon last year's finish that was fifth place overall with a total of 69 points scored. Virginia State is the defending champions on the men's side while Johnson C. Smith and Livingstone rounded out the top-3 finishes.
The Bulldog women did not compete in the 2022 CIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
