Bulldogs Finish Sixth at Conference Championship

The Short Story: The Bowie State men's cross country team placed sixth overall in the 2024 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Cross Country Championship Thursday afternoon at Green Hill Park. The Bulldogs tallied a total of 154 points in the 8k race. Virginia State claimed the conference title with 45 points followed by Fayetteville State (46 points), Claflin (85 points) and Livingstone (103 points) finishing as the top-4 finishes at Green Hill Park.

The Finish Line

Malik Carter crossed the finish line first for Bowie State with a finishing time of 28:14.7 for 17th overall
Keon Witherspoon placed 28th overall at 29:23.4
Aidan Geron (30:07.7), Sean Montague (30:27.5), and Kendall Allen (31:26.9) would all round out the top-40 spots at 33rd, 36th and 40th overall
