BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State men's and women's cross-country teams will open the 2025 season at the Dutchmen Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 6, hosted by Lebanon Valley College at the Union Canal Tunnel Park in Annville, Pa. The women's race begins at 10:15 a.m., followed by the men's at 11 a.m.

New Bulldogs on the Yard
Head coach Pamela Crockett enters the 2025 season with six newcomers, including two freshmen on the women's team and four on the men's side. Leading the men's squad is junior returner Kendall Allen of Owings Mills, Md., who posted a season-best time of 22:54.8 in the 6k at the Spider Alumni Open in 2023. On the women's side, junior Emetem Bezezuh of Lanham, Md., returns after recording a season-best 21:31.6 in the 5k at the 2024 Bison Invite.
