BOWIE, MD --- The Bowie State men's and women's track and field teams will begin its indoor slate at the Fast Track Season Opener on Friday, December 6 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.  This will be the lone meet in December for Bowie State as the Bulldogs will not compete again until Jan. 11 at the VMI Challenge in Lexington, Va.

The meet will kick off with the 60m hurdles on the track and the long jump, women's shot put and women's pole vault in the field. For the full meet schedule, click here.

About Bowie State
The Bulldogs men have a roster made up 14 newcomers and eight returners from a season ago. BSU finished eighth at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) championships last season. BSU welcomes back 10 athletes from a season ago including All-CIAA Yassine Kamara who took home silver at the 2024 CIAA, throwing a mark of 12.99m in the shot put. The Bulldogs added nine newcomers to the roster which were all made up of freshman. Bowie State will look to improve upon last season's seventh place finish. This season will be the first for head coach Pamela Crockett at the helm.
