BOWIE, MD — The Bowie State men's basketball team looks to keep their win streak alive against Bluefield State University in a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Northern Division matchup for Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 17. This will be the nightcap game of a doubleheader featuring the women's game beginning at 2 p.m.
The Bulldogs will honor three seniors prior to tip-off in Anthony Carpenter, Deven Richmond and Joel Webb.
The doubleheader will be streamed live on the Bulldog Sports Network.

The Bulldogs (9-15, 4-10 CIAA, 3-4 North) are coming off an overtime win against Virginia Union, 73-70 Wednesday night. BSU was led by
Caleb Johnson who filled the stat sheet up with 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Three more Bulldogs joined Johnson in double figures including
Kevon Corley who scored nine of his 16 points from the 3-point line, followed by
Warren Mouganda's 15 points and Carpenter's 12 points, respectively. BSU's tenacity on the defensive caused 20 Panther turnovers and only allowed one field goal made in overtime paving the way for a Bulldogs win.
Mouganda leads the Bulldogs in scoring (12.8 ppg) while Webb leads the CIAA in field goal percentage (61.8 percent) and the team in rebounds (5.9). BSU is currently tied for fourth in the Northern Division standings.
About Bluefield State
Big Blue (7-18, 4-10 CIAA, 1-6 North) is coming off a tough loss against Virginia State 83-68 Wednesday night. Clay Baldwin led B-State off the bench scoring 21 points on eight of 13 from the field. Travon Cooper was disruptive getting three steals and adding 16 points. Bluefield State struggled to find consistent three-point success only shooting 15.8 percent from behind the arc. Big Blue is currently last in the Northern Division standings.
