DOVER, DE -- The Bowie State men's and women's team completed the Delaware State Sting Invite Friday at the DSU Farm House. Both the Bulldog men's and women's team finished sixth as BSU women earned a total of 154 points while the men earned 151 points.

Towson women claimed the 5k race title with 27 points and an average time of 19:19. Bowie State was led byÂ
Emetem Bezezuh who finished 38th overall with a time of 23:07.4, followed by
Mylah Faulk at 23:09.1 for 39th overall. Additionally,
Makayla Hill (23:27.0),
Tamera-Lee Rodriques (24:09.3) and
Naomi English (24:36.1) rounded out the top-50 for the Bulldogs.
Howard won the men's 5k race, posting a total of 43 points and an average time of 16:09.
Malik Carter finished 24th overall with a time of 17:57.30 to lead the Bulldogs while
Keon Witherspoon came in 26th after a finishing time of 18:15.10.
Kendall Allen (19:52.5),
Aidan Geron (20:19.5),
Caleb Rose (20:53.1) tabbed the top-40th runners out of 56 total runners.
