BOWIE, MD -- Bowie State men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Salisbury, Md., this weekend for the Don Cathcart Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Winter Place Park.

Bowie State is coming off competition at the Delaware State Sting Invite on Sept. 14. The Bulldogs men's and women's team both finished sixth as a team in their respective races. On the women's side, BSU was led by Emetem Bezezuh who finished 38th overall with a time of 23:07.4, followed by Mylah Faulk at 23:09.1 for 39th overall for a total of 154 points. Meanwhile, on the men's side -  Malik Carter finished 24th overall with a time of 17:57.30 to lead the Bulldogs while Keon Witherspoon came in 26th after a finishing time of 18:15.10 for a total of 151 points.

Looking Ahead
Following the Don Cathcart Invitational, the Bulldogs will have two remaining regular season meets before the CIAA Championship on Oct. 24 in Salem, Va. The Bulldogs will compete in the Paul Short Invitational (Oct. 5) and the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Race (Oct. 12).

Up Next
The Bulldogs will head to Bethlehem, Pa., on Saturday, Oct. 5 for the Paul Short Invitational. The men's race will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the women's race at 10:15 a.m. at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.
