BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State men's and women's track and field teams will be competing this weekend at the Widener Invitational in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan. 24-25 hosted by Widener University at the Ott Center.

The Last Timeout
The Bulldogs are coming off a good outing in New York last weekend at the HBCU Showcase. Jaeden Warner earned first place in the men's shot put event with a throw of 15.96 while Yassine Kamara placed third in the women's shot put event with a toss of 14.35m.  Lorenzo Pelham, this week's Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Track Athlete of the Week ran a time of 7.98 in the 60m hurdles finals for a second-place finish while Jaiden Jarrett placed eight in the 60m finals.

Bowie State will travel to Virginia Beach, Va., to compete in the Marlin Invitational on Friday, Jan. 31 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
