BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State University Department of Athletics has unveiled its 2025-26 basketball home game themes, highlighting a season full of energy, creativity, and Bulldog pride inside A.C. Jordan Arena. All themed events will take place during men's and women's basketball doubleheaders, giving fans twice the action and excitement.

From Rodeo Night to Senior Day, Bulldog Nation can look forward to giveaways, contests, and special recognitions designed to enhance the game day experience and showcase the spirit of Bowie State.

Dec. 13 vs. Winston-Salem State – Rodeo Night
Saddle up, Bulldogs! Fans are encouraged to bring their western flair by wearing cowboy hats, boots, flannel shirts, and denim. The night will feature country hits, line dancing, and halftime crowd contests, including a "Best Dressed Cowboy/Cowgirl" competition and a rodeo-style photo booth.

Dec. 15 vs. Livingstone – Hoops & Holly
Celebrate the holidays with Hoops & Holly! Fans are invited to wear festive holiday attire, sweaters, or themed gear. A prize will be awarded for the best "ugly sweater" or most festive outfit.

Jan. 3 vs. Shaw & Johnson C. Smith – White Out
Turn the stands into a sea of white as the Bulldogs host a conference doubleheader. Fans, students, alumni, and supporters are encouraged to wear white to show their spirit. Free White Out T-shirts will be given to early-arriving fans while supplies last.

Jan. 29 vs. Bluefield State – Coaches vs. Cancer
In partnership with the American Cancer Society, Bowie State joins the fight against cancer. Coaches will wear sneakers to symbolize awareness, with a special moment of silence and survivor recognition during the game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink or purple to show their support.

Feb. 11 vs. Elizabeth City State – Battle of the Classes
Which class has the most Bulldog pride? Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors will compete through signs, chants, and spirit displays. The most spirited class will earn a prize based on creativity, energy, and unity.

Feb. 14 vs. Virginia Union – Alumni Day / Pink Out
Bowie State will celebrate alumni while raising awareness for breast cancer. Former student-athletes and graduates will be recognized during halftime, with an alumni seating section, group photo, postgame social, and special giveaways. Early-arriving fans will receive pink pendants.

Feb. 18 vs. Virginia State – Greek & Retro Night
Celebrate Greek unity and throwback Bulldog style! Greek organizations will perform a halftime step and stroll show, followed by a group photo opportunity. A prize will be awarded for the best retro outfit.

Feb. 21 vs. Lincoln (PA) – Senior Day / Black Out
Bowie State will honor its graduating student-athletes during Senior Day. Fans are encouraged to wear all black to pack A.C. Jordan Arena. The first 200 fans will receive free Black Out T-shirts while supplies last.
