BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will head to New Jersey to compete at the 2025 Oscar Moore Invite, hosted by Rowan University on Saturday, Apr. 12. The meet will take place at Coach Richard Wackar Stadium in Glassboro, N.J., beginning at 12 p.m. with field events.

Bulldogs Last Timeout
BSU's student-athletes set the tone with a string of personal-best performances at the Towson Twilight Opener on Apr. 5, showing growth and determination as the season progresses.
On the women's side, Yassine Kamara led the way with a personal best of 14.87 meters in the shot put, earning her a second-place finish and setting a new HBCU record. Fellow thrower Jazmyne McGirt also reached a new milestone, throwing 11.47 meters in the shot put to place fourth and add her name to the HBCU record books.
For the men, Jaiden Jarrett clocked a personal record of 21.75 seconds in the 200-meter dash, placing sixth, while Dareon Faircloth followed with a best performance time of 22.08 seconds for seventh. Nathan Jacobs broke the two-minute barrier in the 800m, recording his fastest time of 2:00.67 and earning a spot on the HBCU top-85 list. Ceque Stevens had a breakthrough in the triple jump, setting a new personal record with a leap of 13.39 meters to finish fifth. In the throws, Leandre Lewis hit a personal-best mark of 43.25 meters in the hammer throw, good for third place.

Bowie State will return to Maryland to battle in the Morgan State Legacy meet on Friday, Apr. 18 through Saturday, Apr. 19 hosted by Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md.
