(RICHMOND, Va.) The Bowie State University bowling team finished in first place at the St. Paul's College event over the weekend. The Lady Bulldogs ended with weekend with a 9-3 record. Sophomore
Tycora Brown (Pocomoke City, Md.) led all bowlers with a 205.20 average and rolled games of 233, 245, 204, 184 and 169 for a total pin count of 1,028.

Rebecca Frusciante (Mahopac, NY, Mahopac) with 190.40,
Kathren Hayward (Edgewater, MD, South River) (288.60),
Danielle Martin (Windsor Mill, MD, Oakland Mills) with a 180.80 average and
Dominique Carroll (Bowie, MD, Bowie) with a 178.00 average.
Bowie State will return to the lanes - Saturday, January 24th and Sunday, January 25th hosting the Lady Bulldogs Classic at the AMF Laurel (Md.) Lanes. The weekend events will begin at 11:15 on Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
