(RICHMOND, Va.)  The Bowie State University bowling team finished in first place at the St. Paul's College event over the weekend.  The Lady Bulldogs ended with weekend with a 9-3 record.  Sophomore Tycora Brown (Pocomoke City, Md.) led all bowlers with a 205.20 average and rolled games of 233, 245, 204, 184 and 169 for a total pin count of 1,028.

Other Lady Bulldogs' weekend averages include Rebecca Frusciante (Mahopac, NY, Mahopac) with 190.40, Kathren Hayward (Edgewater, MD, South River) (288.60), Danielle Martin (Windsor Mill, MD, Oakland Mills) with a 180.80 average and Dominique Carroll (Bowie, MD, Bowie) with a 178.00 average.

Bowie State will return to the lanes - Saturday, January 24th and Sunday, January 25th hosting the Lady Bulldogs Classic at the AMF Laurel (Md.) Lanes.  The weekend events will begin at 11:15 on Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
