(KUTZTOWN, Pa.)  Bowie State is in 13th place in the team standings, after going 0-5 in Baker Matches Friday at Bowl-A-Rama in Reading, Pa.  

The Bowie State Lady Bulldogs knocked down 3,028 pins. Sacred Heart had 3,744 pins to lead the competition, followed by Fairleigh Dickinson in second-place with 3,656 and host Kutztwon is third with 3,564 pins. 

Bowie State University dropped its opening day match to New Jersey City College (747 to 612).  Kutztown defeated BSU 683 to 604, Sacred Heart University beat the Lady Bulldogs 821 to 615, Florida A&M University outscored Bowie State 705 to 612 and Norfolk State downed BSU's Lady Bulldogs 690 to 583.
