BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State women's bowling team will return for the 2022 calendar year Thursday, Jan. 27 through Saturday, Jan. 29 for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Event II North/South hosted by Livingstone College. The event will take place at the Woodleaf Lanes in Salisbury, N.C.
The Bulldogs have not competed since their season opener back on Nov. 5-7 at the AMF Southdale Lanes in Pasadena, MD. Bowie State went 7-1 against Northern Division opponents only falling to Virginia State (688-695).
Senior Cayla Snowden (Baltimore, MD) leads the Bulldogs with an 171.57 average while as a unit, Bowie State posts 181.1 individually and 724.4 as a team.
The Bulldogs will be competing against Southern Division schools beginning with traditional team matches on Friday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 29), traditional matches will start at 11 a.m., followed by a the Bakers matches at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday (Jan. 30).
