NEW YORK, N.Y. – Bowie State women's track and field team showed improvement at the Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) Showcase, presented by KPMG on Saturday at the Armory Track and Field Center Saturday.

Notable Highlights
- Catherine Enwereji (Sicklerville, NJ) continues to improve in her freshman campaign; she tabbed top-10 in the 800m race, crossing the finish line at 2:35.94 setting a new personal best.
- Destiny Lewis (Huntingtown, MD) registered a 13th place finish in the mile run at 6:08.50.
- Zahra Graham (Mansfield, OH) also grabbed a top-10 finish in the high jump, posting a mark of 1.43m. That mark became a new personal-best performance in the high jump (10th overall) while she recorded another personal best in the long jump (4.73m) for 19th overall.
- In the shot put, Jazmyn McGrit (Severn, MD) earned 13th overall with a throw of 9.76m – a personal best for the newcomer.
