BOWIE, MD --- Bowie State head softball coach
Ed Powell will be holding the Bowie State Elite Winter Camp on Saturday, January 20 inside McKeldin Gymnasium. The one-day camp will be ran by the Bowie State softball coaching staff and some players. In addition to teaching fundamentals of the game, the camps will also emphasize other elements including infield/outfield fundamentals, hitting, bunting, base running and competition.
ELITE WINTER CAMP
- The cost to participate is $125 (one day).
- The elite winter camp is geared towards grade school (7-12) beginning at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with skill development such as base running, batting, pitching, catching, infield and outfield.
- From 9 am to 1:30 p.m., there will be a Q&A session for participants.
- Free ticket to Bowie State basketball doubleheader against Lincoln (PA) for participant at the conclusion of elite winter camp.
