BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie State men's and women's track and field team is set to open the 2023 outdoor season this Saturday at the Dan Stimson Memorial Meet in Williamsburg, Va. at Walter J. Zable Stadium at Cary Field.

In total, the Bulldogs is scheduled to compete in six outdoor meets prior to the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Outdoor Championships in Durham, N.C. on May 5-6. 

The Bulldogs men's team is coming off a fifth place finish at the conference championships a season ago. While during the indoor season, the Bulldogs finished seventh overall led by two silver place finishes in the pole vault (Joshua Carter, 3.85m) and 5000m (Eric Thomas-Talley, 16:46.45). On the women's side, BSU is coming off a ninth place finish during indoor.
