The Top Dog: The Top Dog: Bowie State's Yassine Kamara took home two first place finishes at the Morgan State Lagacy Invitational, earning gold in both the women's shot put (14.76m) and discus (50.46m).
Women's Track & Field
Throws
- Jazmyne McGirt joined Kamara in the shot put with a throw of 11.47m for a 10th place finish.
- In the women's hammer throw, Na'Shae Early and Dasani Robinson each achieved personal bests with marks of 37.13m and 31.40m, placing sixth and ninth, respectively.
- Early returned to the podium in the javelin throw, placing third with a throw of 28.09m.
Men's Track & Field
Sprints
- Lorenzo Pelham conquered the 110m hurdles, placing first with a time of 14.48.
- In the 400m, Benick Akeh clocked a personal best of 48.13 seconds for fourth place.
- Aaron Little, Jr. delivered a strong showing in the men's 400m hurdles, claiming tenth place with a time of 1.00.38, a personal best for him on the season.
Jumps
- Tareik Jackson finished sixth in the men's high jump with a mark of 1.85m.
Throws
- Movado Gray claimed the top honor with a first place throw of 15.32m in the men's shot put, while fellow Bulldog Jaeden Warner placed third with a throw of 14.18m and Isam Banajah wrapping up the top ten with a mark of 12.13m.
- Warner reached the podium, placing second in the men's discus with a throw of 44.10m.
- Leandre Lewis claimed seventh in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 40.08m.
