CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) released the winners of the Softball CIAA Players of the Week awards for Week Four on Wednesday, with Bowie State's sophomore
Lindsey George taking home Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second-straight week.
The Fayetteville, Ga., native was force atop of the Bulldogs batting order, finishing 6-game win streak for the Bulldogs with six hits (6-of-14, .429), four runs scored, three RBI, a pair of doubles and a home run at the designated player position. Against Claflin, George went 1-for-4 in the ballgame with a home run and two RBI.Â
George leads the CIAA in hits (27) and doubles (6) through 26 games played.
