BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will travel to St. Mary's City, Md., to compete in the Seahawk Invitational at Jamie L. Roberts Stadium on Saturday, March 30 hosted by St. Mary's College.
The field events will get the meet going and will take place at 9 a.m., beginning with the men's hammer throw, followed the running events at 11:30 a.m. featuring the 3000m steeplechase.

BSU is coming off several competitive performances at the Maryland Invitational last weekend. Freshman Anijah Medley claimed the triple jump (10.56m) title to highlight the Bulldog women. The event was her first career win at Bowie State while Shakila Campbell and Yassine Kamara both earned two second place finishes with Campbell finishing second in the triple jump (10.45m) and Kamara throwing a mark of 11.58m in the shot put for the silver.
On the men's side, the Bulldogs recorded three top-3 finishes including a silver for Corey Anderson in the triple jump at 12.72m, Fallou Mboup in the 110m hurdles (15.98) and Jaden Warner who grabbed a bronze in the discus throw (40.64m). Additionally, Bowie State had a total of 11 top-10 finishes.
