BOWIE, MD - Bowie State's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will compete in this weekend's Morgan State Legacy Meet on Friday, Apr. 19 and Saturday, April 20 at Earl C. Banks Field at Hughes Stadium.
Running events will take place at 9:40 a.m., while simultaneously, at 10 a.m., field events will begin. Bowie State joins 18 colleges and universities at the meet, including CCBC, Catonsville, Coppin State, Delaware State, District of Columbia, Essex CC, Hampton, Howard, Maryland Eastern Shore, Monroe College, Montgomery College, New Jersey City, NJI T, St. Peter's, Towson, UMBC, Virginia State and host Morgan State.

BSU men's and women's outdoor track and field team traveled to Delaware State this past weekend as Yassine Kamara and Jaden Warner headlined Delaware State Invitational for the Bulldogs.
On the women's side, Kamara claimed first place in the shot put (13.72m) and the discus (47.72m) – this would be the second time this season she has won both events at a meet. Additionally, BSU had two second place finishes in the 4x100m relay (50.17) and the 4x400m relay (4:15.29). Those teams consisted of Fantasia Carney, Ashley Ayukegba, Anijah Medley, Nya Exum, and Kam'Ryn Fontaine.
On the men's side, Warner earned a second-place finish for both the discus (46.92m) and the shot put (14.30m). Meanwhile,Dhani Young, Caleb Rose, Aidan Geron and Elijah Boulware finished second overall in the 4x100m relay (3:26.39).
