BOWIE, MD - Bowie State's men's and women's track and field teams will gear up for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championship Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4 at Durham County Memorial Stadium in Durham, N.C.

Bowie State competed in its last regular season meet of the 2024 slate, this past weekend at the VSU Invitational hosted by Virginia State in Petersburg, Va. On the women's side, Mylah Faulk (2:23.23), Makayla Hill (11:55.04), and Zahra Graham (1:10.63) all earned second place finishes in the 3000m race, 800m race, and 400m Hurdles.
On the men's side, the Bulldogs had three top-3 finishes this past weekend, led by Justin Alston earning second place in the 5000m race (17:33.00). Aidan Geron placed second overall in the 800 race (2:00.00) and Jaeden Warner wrapped up the BSU's top performances with a second place finish in the shot put (14:06m).
