Philadelphia, PA -- The Bowie State women's track and field team made their mark at the Widener Winter Evening Invite on January 24, with standout performances that earned top 10 finishes.
Sprints/Distance
Sophomore
Mylah Faulk delivered an outstanding performance in the 400-meter dash, securing a fourth-place finish with a time of 59.60. The 4x400-meter relay team of
Catherine Enwereji, Mylah Faulk, Zaniya Gavins, and
Oluwafisayo Sule showcased their teamwork and speed, finishing in fifth with a time of 4:13.31.
Throws
The two-time All-American senior continues to shine in this indoor season. This weekend the Hyattsville, Md., native
Yassine Kamara came in first place with a throw of 13.56m, while teammate
Jazmyne McGirt came in fourth with a throw of 11.98m. These performances underscore the Bulldogs' competitive spirit and determination as they continue to excel in a strong field of collegiate athletes.
