BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State women's bowling team has announced its 2025-26 schedule, the first under head coach Tubar Thompson. The Bulldogs return six of seven student-athletes from last year's squad, including All-CIAA bowler
Arianna Clayton, and enter the season as the defending CIAA northern division champions.
Bowie State opens the season Oct. 10-12 at the Bud Whitman Memorial, hosted by Chestnut Hill University in New Castle, Del. The Bulldogs will then compete in the Virginia Union Invitational (Oct. 31-Nov. 2) in Richmond, Va., before heading to Petersburg, Va., for CIAA Event
I, hosted by Virginia State (Nov. 7-9). The fall portion of the schedule concludes Nov. 21-23 at the Garden State Classic, hosted by Monmouth University in Howell, N.J.
The spring slate begins Jan. 23-25 with CIAA Event II, hosted by Johnson C. Smith in Charlotte, N.C. BSU will then travel to Pittsburgh, Pa., for the Duquesne Invitational (Jan. 30-Feb. 2), followed by the CIAA Round-Up, hosted by Bowie State in Annapolis, Md. (Feb. 20-22).
The Bulldogs wrap up the regular season March 13-15 at CIAA Event III, hosted by the defending conference champs Fayetteville State in Fayetteville, N.C., before competing in the CIAA Championship March 21-22 in Midlothian, Va.
Bowie State will look to defend its Northern Division crown while seeking its first CIAA championship since 2022.
