VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – The Bowie State men's and women's track and field teams posted multiple top-10 finishes and set several HBCU and Division II marks at the 2026 Marlins Invitational, hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex.

SPRINTERS

• Men's 60m Dash: Dareon Faircloth placed second (6.88).
• Women's 60m Dash: Sidney Richardson finished second (7.72), setting a new HBCU No. 52 mark.
• Men's 200m Dash: Faircloth claimed first place (21.78), establishing a new HBCU No. 44 time.
• Men's 60m Hurdles: Tavon Williams finished second (8.55).

MIDDLE DISTANCE

• Men's 800m: Sean Trader placed ninth (2:02.23).
• Women's 800m: Mylah Faulk finished fourth (2:27.64), setting a new HBCU No. 55 mark; Emetem Bezezuh placed seventh (2:29.30).

JUMPERS

• Men's Long Jump: Khory Reevey finished fourth (6.44m); Keshon Tate placed 10th (6.02m).
• Women's Long Jump: Abigail Mokosso finished eighth (5.02m); Anijah Medley placed 10th.
• Men's High Jump: Tareik Jackson tied for second (1.99m), setting a new HBCU No. 27 and Division II No. 60 mark; Princewil Osahon tied for fourth.
• Women's High Jump: Kesare placed seventh (1.40m), setting a new HBCU No. 63 mark.
• Women's Triple Jump: Anijah Medley finished fifth (10.93m); Rebecca Bogy placed sixth (10.89m).

THROWERS

• Men's Shot Put: Jaeden Warner placed fifth (14.66m); Khalil Brooks finished seventh (13.20m).
• Women's Shot Put: Jazmyne McGirt placed third (11.77m); Breanna Reid finished ninth (10.04m).
• Women's Weight Throw: Breanna Reid placed second (14.19m).

RELAYS

• Women's 4x400m Relay: The Bulldogs finished second (4:20.18).

The Bulldogs will rest before preparing for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 15, through Monday, Feb. 16, at the Tryon International Center in Mill Spring, N.C.
