BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State men's and women's cross-country teams will travel to Winchester, Va., to compete in the Hornet Harrier and Commonwealth Challenge on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Kernstown Battlefield. The women's race is set for 9:45 a.m., followed by the men's race at 10:30 a.m.

Last Time Out for the Bulldogs
The Bowie State women's cross-country team placed fifth at the Delaware State Sting Invitational in Dover, Del. Emetem Bezezuh led the Bulldogs in 26th (24:44), followed by Kaniyah Ervin (29th, 25:12) and Destiny Lewis (30th, 25:24). Ugonna Ibegwam (41st, 27:35), Adonna Jackson (45th, 29:11) and Summyr Williams (49th, 44:27) rounded out the lineup.
The Bulldog men's cross-country team finished seventh overall. Sean Trader paced the Bulldogs with an 18th-place finish (18:15), while Mujaahid Jones followed in 25th (18:48). Aidan Geron (34th, 20:05), Markell Yarborough (43rd, 23:19), Kenneth McLeish (44th, 23:30) and Ryan Stewart (50th, 30:39) closed out the squad.
