The Short Story
The Bowie State men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Dutchmen Inviational, with the women's team finishing 13th. The Bulldog women tallied 419 points with an average time of 29:00.3 in the 5k race, while the men finished with a team average time of 33:18.5.
The Finish Line
- Emetem Bezezuh placed 119th and was the first Bulldog to cross the finish line for the women, recording a time of 23:29.8.
- Kaniyah Ervin placed 131st as the second Bulldog to cross with a finishing time of 24:38.4.
- Sean Trader led the Bulldog men with a time of 31.08.8, placing 109th in the 8k.
- Aiden Geron finished with a time of 35:29.1, placing 148th.
Up Next
The Bulldogs will travel to Dover, Del., for the DSU Invitational hosted by Delaware State on Friday, Sept. 12. The women's race begins at 3 p.m., followed by the men's at approximately 4 p.m.
