KENNETH SCOTT, HOF
Kenneth was born on January 7, 1956 in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. He is
the son of Aaron Thompson Scott and Gladys Johnson Scott of Crofton,
Maryland. He has 2 brothers and 1 sister. He also has 4 children and 1
grandchild.
At the age 12 Kenneth’s family moved to Maryland. It was then that his
father introduced him to bowling and he has been bowling ever since.
EDUCATION
Kenneth is a graduate of Duval High School and after graduating he entered
the Air Force. He served 8 years in the Air Force as a Military Police Officer.
After leaving the military he joined the US Secret Service where he worked
for 20-years in various law enforcement positions.
COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ORGANIZATIONS
In his spare time he managed the Youth Bowling League at the Bowie Bowling Center and he
bowled on several bowling teams 5 nights a week. In 2001 he accepted the position of Head Coach for the first Women’s Bowling Team at Bowie State University. Since accepting this position he has Coach of the Year 3 times for the CIAA and 2 times for Bowie State. The Team won their 1st CIAA Championship in 2004 and again in 2005, 2010, 2014, 2016, and in 2017.
