Robert Strother, Jr. attended Bowie State College/University from 1965 to 1969 earning a
degree in Anthropology/Sociology. In 1994 Mr. Strother earned a Master of Arts in
Administrative Management.

Athletic achievements include Lettered in Men's Basketball; Lead the Men's Basketball Team in scoring 2 of 4 Years, Co-Captain of the Men's Basketball Team – 1969 and Recognized as one of the Metropolitan Areas Top Ten Leading Scorers in Area Colleges/Universities - Washington Post.

Mr. Strother community service and organizations contributions are Lifetime Member NAACP, Lifetime Member BSUNAA, Treasurer, BSU Southern Alumni Chapter, Vice President and Membership Chair for the BSU Athletic Boosters Club, Member of the BSU Athletic Fundraising Committee and Member Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity – 1969.

Professional Careers include United States Park Police - Washington, DC, Received several Accommodations and Awards for Outstanding Performances and Vice President Pinkie's Arts, Inc.

Robert is married to Pinkie M. Strother (BSU 1973), father of adult children: Stroria S. Davis and Spencer S. Strother (BSU 2003) and Grandson: Emmett H. Strother.

Athletic highlight: Scored 49 Points in a Single Game – 1969.
